Hi All
I put my R1 single seater on the rolling road at Track'n'Road Power Performace at Rainham yesterday (a bloody long way from West Wales but
worth it!).
After much tweaking of the map (rewrite), it produced flywheel 152 BHP at 10,600 rpm and 84 lbft of torque at 8,300 rpm.
It sounded fantastic but I couldn't watch!
It may have made a couple of more with more tweaking but I had a problem - the external crank trigger wheel was working loose - it's very heavy
so needs lightening - today!!
When I get the chance, I'll download the map from the Emerald ECU and stick it on my web site.

Wyn
sounds good wyn
That's good torque. What type of R1 engine is it? I take it you're not using the standard pick up then. What are you running?
I think Wyn has a 5JJ which is then converted to injection??
May be a future mod for mine if my carb rolling road figures are significantly worse than that.
Wyn - nice one! See you at Llandow (PM.)
It's the 4XV with a throttle body 'conversion' and an Emerald ECU.
The external trigger wheel is steel and very heavy so has lots of inertia. I've
managed to clamp it all back up and it's OK but I'm going to lighten the wheel now!

Wyn
That's quite interesting. You have more torque than me and have it lower in the rev range. (4XV engine on carbs) Your power is less though and at a higher RPM. It kind of suggests that you could get more out of the top end if you tried.
