just wondering how big a roll to order to cover my manifold to keep the temp down under the bonnet
I was thinking of a 50 ft by 2 inches roll, does this sound enough

just about mate, hope to get it to Newark one way or another
one seat to bolt in scuttle and dash to secure bonnet to trim and fit boot panel to trim and fit and Cols got to finish linking the exhaust and its
done apart from a good clean and polish and some graphics
thats good news Rich!
I have never used exhaust wrap myself, and I know the BEC version of these cars usually have more room than normal cars, but a mate of mine who
rally's swears he'd never use the 2 inch stuff again, he always uses the 1 inch stuff now!
Like I say, it might be fine with a bit more room, but he said it was a bit of a pain...

Yeah the 1" stuff is better for curved tubes. Be aware though that the consenses is that header wrap will quickly destroy mild-steel tubing.

I used steam pipe wrap on my exhaust, only cost £6, it is 2" but quite thick, its been there 2 years without any problems.
PS What is it supposed to do to mild steel?
My piece of advice is never use the cheap stuff!
Spent some money now to avoid spending some serius money later.
A friend of mine lost his car from exhaust wrap (catch fire)
Just out of curiosity read this...
Oh sorry Idont know how to post PDF on this forum...
Does anybody knows how?
