When I start up the LED's on the PC scans up and down a few times then stops on at the last -ve one. Is this normal? Also how do the buttons
work? mine don't seem to do anything.
I know it's best to adjust the map but don't know how these work or whats normal.
Only just about to investigate my test fail so not sure if its mixture or something else yet (exhaust leak possibly) that was throwing the lambda out.
Does sound weak at fast idle but then my ear is tuned to car engines! Go's like stink on the road.

How it goes on the road and how it sounds like idle have nothing to do with each other (probably).
The fast idle and idle tests at SVA are done at 0 throttle which is why you can "lean off" your fueling but still drive it, because
when on the road, you are not at 0 throttle. And the reason for the "probably" above is that the 0 throttle settings will probably be
the only ones changed on your PC...
I've sent you a U2U Adrian.

Yep I get that Steve. Just thought I'd check whether the lights and buttons were normal before I start messing this afternoon. Had to lean off
slightly last week (-3) to get a mixture I thought was close but at SVA was getting 1.400 lambda whuch is very lean but could just be an air leak.
Changing to +30 hardly altered it!

The lights thing is normal...

Well, I've had a play at the MOT station and got the emmisions under the pass level. Also put some +20/30's in around the noise test rev
range and it smoothed out a lot so should pass that as well. Just can't get a re-test 'till the 27th!
Still don't know how the buttons work. Anyone know? Just for reference.
