750MC RGB regs question?

Hi

I've taken a deposit on the Fury, I want to get back into racing with a cheaper BEC. I'd be pig sick if the Fury got damaged but if I can pick up a good value race car I'd be well up for it.

My race license has run out now, think it was a national A I had, what licence is required for this class??

Main question though... I have come across a car.. It has no V5, but has allthe lights, cage, extinguisher, elec reverse etc and has competed in RGB a few years ago. Now I understood it was road going bike engined cars, does this mean it needs a V5 or does the car just have to be built in the spirit of going on the road, but not necessarily iva/sva'd?? It looks a good deal but I don't want to end up with something I need to go to the trouble of IVA'ing just so I can spank it round a track. Like I said it has apparently ran in RGB before but the rules may have changed since, for all I know.

Can anyone clarify??

NEEEEEED to get back on track.

Hi

The classes in RGB have changed slightly over the past few years and without knowing the car you are looking at it would be difficult to say if it was now ok for the current RGB series.

It does not have to be road registered but should be capable of passing an MOT ie working handbrake lights etc.

The regs are here on the 750 site http://www.750mc.co.uk/F-rgb.php

Or visit us at http://rgb-racing.org.uk/ and ask any questions you like everyone is really helpful and will be able to answer any questions you have.
