Plastic (Nylon) Rivets?
SALAD - 10/1/09 at 01:55 PM

Is it OK to use Nylon rivets to secure my brake lines?.....I'm using Nylon P-Clips.......How about for fuel lines aswell?

Brake lines on production cars often use plastic brake line clips that just push in to a hole in the body so yes.
As for fuel lines not sure so i would go for ally rivets, screws or bolts

Excellent thank you. How about Nylon P-Clips for fuel lines?

Does anyone know where I can get suitable Nylon rivets for this?

Most places I've looked at will only sell silly quantities at silly prices!

My p-clips have a 5mm mounting hole so I need some with a decent size head, around 5mm, whilst requiring a small mounting hole so I don't have to make 'big' holes in my chassis...........
I'm not too worried about how they mount as long as they are secure.

Any ideas?
