DVLA new V5 and Private Plate

Hi All

I've just bought a 'new' bike and I want to put a private plate on it. I've got the New Keeper bit of the V5 - can I get the V5 (in my name) and assign the private plate at the same time? Or do I have to get the V5 and then change it - knowing the DVLA I've probably answered my own question!

Yes, you can do it with just the new keeper supplement - there's an additional form to take along (V62), but no extra cost
