morning or afternoon test
jabbahutt - 27/9/08 at 11:30 AM

Hi all

Any advantages/disadvantages to having either a morning or afternoon test?

I was going to go for afternoon to save running round like a loon in the morning and could make sure all tools/paperwork were in order before setting off and also it avoids rush hour?

any thoughts please

Cheers
Nigel

hi
exeter only do morning tests, dont know if this is true of all stations though
afternoons are for retests etc

I went for a morning one using the assumption that i would stand a better chance of being able to do any simple fixes and hopefully get it retested straight away. Have they offered you any dates yet??

Morning is best as said above it gives you a bit of time to make any mods required to pass.

I had to replace my front brake lines, mirror and adjust my front indicator positioning for my car to pass. Would never have had time to do that with an afternoon test.

The motor factors is only a stones throw away at the Aberdeen test station abd the guy behind the counter said he does a roaring trade from the test staion visitors!!!!!!

If your going to Manchester, I think they only do SVA test in the morning. Retests and imports in the afternoon.
