Hi all, i am building a dax rush and i want to know if there are options for the steering rack because MK2 is quite difficult to find outside UK for LHD car.

BUlgaria mate Faaaar faaar away) And as you will say with the steering wheel on the wrong site))

the lengths are the important bit for the suspension geometry, thats why dax stuck with the Mk2 escort one when they changed to donor to the sierra

Mk3 escorts are front wheel drive (so totaly different) and I don't know of any other racks with the same dimensions


I think you'd be much better off looking for an alternative way of getting one shipped from the uk

Rally design to a left hand drive mk2 escort rack, they ship more or less anywhere although they can be a bit arsy about it at times.

Worst case scenario you can get them to box it up and arrange UPS to collect it.

HI, i found one for 99 GBP in the ebay with free Uk shipping and will use a courier to get it to BG. I also send them a best offer of 80 so we'll see) If they do not accept it i will send them an offer for 80 per item and take 2 rack if they have in stock. I will keep you informed) Thanks a lot

Yavor, try to look for local motor factors who sell LENCO steering racks. I got LHD Mk II Escort rack for about 80 pounds in Estonia. Not sure of ratio tough.
