Which diff do Zcars use in there bike engined mini as the basis for there chain drive diff?

I noticed that they use sierra style push in drive shafts but with they advertise that they have a limited slip diff.

Can you remove the bolt on flanges from a sierra LSD and use sierra push in shafts at the diff and at the hub ends?

The reason Im asking is the push in shafts look like they have bigger slides in the CV's which should help with my suspension travel needs (off roader) but I would like to use disk hubs and a sierra LSD.

Thanks for the badlands drawing, Im suprised it features telescopic driveshafts, It reminds me of the Triumph TR6 driveshafts,

it don't look like my diff but would still be very good so it seems

The guy from west garage can do both the diff and the shafts in one supplier package.
The other good thing about this supplier is he is a friend of Zilspeed and many of the racecar owners locally
use his services so you wont get stuffed around.

I dont know exactly which suppliers that zcars use but these guys are the ones that we researched to get our buggys going in the next year.

No Z-cars don't use one of my differentials, think they use a Fiesta type.
I do similar Fiesta/Escort RS Turbo LSD versions along with MX5, Honda TypeR, Sierra and Mini versions....

If you are looking for maximum articulation use Berrisford Sierra Lobro type shafts with extended splines and no inner circlips.

Thanks for the info minitici, thats interesting that you can run extended splines witout circlips, hadn't thought of that.

Yep berrisford shafts are for autograssers (like mine) and are splined for 4 inches each end. The shafts just bottom in the cups (well at one end or the other, not both at the same time!!) so the circlips don't really do a lot most of the time.

I have them on my locost too as they are very light shafts!!
