Mondeo hubs and carriers for MK indy

Does anyone know if I can use the hubs and carriers from a mondeo on a MK Indy? All help much appreciated.

Rather doubt the mondy bits and the normal sierra bits resemble each other at all, what with the mondy being FWD and the sierra RWD. Completely different beasts. [That's not to say it would be impossible to make use of mondeo parts on an MK indy, you would just have to be prepared for a lot of modification and fabrication. The parts certainly aren't interchangable.]

Best off looking for sierra bits.

Take a look how MGF front hubs have been adapted to having no drive, just the suspension geometry to sort out then!

Could u not just put the outer CV through the hub and tighten the nut up to hold it all together. Then surely all youd need is to make up the adapters for the top and get the taper machined for the lower ball as per sierra stylee? Maybe adaptions made to the wishbones for the correct camber etc?

Aren't the Mondeo hubs 5 stud?

And I'm presuming if you were using Sierra hubs for the rear then they'd be 4 stud, would be a little strange.

Only the new shape mondeo is 5 stud, and im guessing he's not thinking of those.

sorry, forgot to say that the mondeo is an L reg, so it has four studs. Its just that I have one rotting on my drive and i'd like to use as much of it as possible, rather than shelling out for more sierra parts.

It's generally similar to the Sierra but istr the rack is behind the steering axis also the balljoints aren't tapered.
