want to change the diff on my IRS Locorage,is it straight forward or difficult to do eg does the petrol tank have to come out

I'ts dead straightforward, tank stays in and diff comes out from above.

Iv'e edited this cos now i'm questioning if it does come out from the top, iv'e only done it about a dozen times so you can understand why i can't remember! no wonder the missus calls me Al zheimer. Still an easy job either way.
