I brought some new wheels off of an s-type last week (they look really nice and were only £65 for four
). I wasnt sure if they would fit my donor
car and it turns out that they dont
Do i need s-type uprights or hubs or something else?
ps sorry im not a mechanic and my lack of knowlege is showing
you just need to know the PCD and stud number of the wheels, and pick hubs to match. It wont be just s type ones that fit.
quick google implies they *MAY* be 5x108, which i think is granada and probably mondeo fit.

S & X types are 5 stud 108mm pcd
XK's are 5 stud 120.65 pcd
pretty sure older jags shared the chevy 5 stud 4.75" pcd.

same as volvo . which are different to early jag .
i think the newer mondeos copy the volvo setup . dont think its grandad .
i think you need to stick with the correct type wheels fitted to your donor , for the correct geometry .
Not sure about the mondeo, but i just realised that 120.65mm is infact 4.75", so all real jags must have the same stud pattern, not that it helps
the OP.

Unfortunatly, this link below doesn't cover Jags, but I'll attach it anyway for people who haven't seen it as it's very useful:
