i'm wondering if the wishbones should be mounted parallel to each other or if there is a set angle for best performance. i'm sorry if i'm flogging the same old dead horse with this question but my searches either through up to many postings or when i refined my search there was little of interest.
Search under anti-dive
Really just adds problems in a small light low car.
In a full size Jag or Merc it is a different matter in that situation a tiny bit of anti-dive helps.
side view: Mine are standing at 5,5 degr "DIVE" both upper and lower wishbone
All Avon's have also dive instead of anti-dive.
Can't tell you now how it behaves, my car isn't finished yet.
Maybe someone wiser??
Front view: not parrallel but "roll-centre and camber, bump-steer etc.
Upper view: parrallel as i don't know what all will happen, scary .....

The mounts on the chassis are parallel to each other but the top wishbone slopes up to the top balljoint in Locost chassis. Some kits are parallel in both planes though so the wheels stay in the same plane instead off adding camber when the body rolls.
put my visual-plane to it
when i say parralle i'm talking about the arms of the wishbone viewed from the front.
Have you got a copy of the build yourself a sportscar book. The measurements in there work fine for the height setting with Cortina uprights. Look through people's photo archives and you will see that the top wishbone slopes up to the top balljoint so is not parallel to the bottom one.
