If it is the one in the picture it looks way too good to break, sell it and get a wreck of some sort. I think the under pinnings are not too different
from a contemporary Cortina so could be used.

If its a 1966 car its more likely to be based on the mk1 or possibly the mark2

It sould be a MK2. The car is reported to be in poor shape. The pix is only an example.

they had a V4, not sure how similar the running gear is to a Cortina though
So it's a FWD car?
Don't think so, i am pretty sure it is RWD. Not sure about front suspension, may well be mcPherson strut rather han wishbones.

That makes it a Corsairthey had a V4, not sure how similar the running gear is to a Cortina though
