Cortina Uprights

Do non Cortina hubs fit Cortina uprights?
For example, could I fit Sierra hubs to Cortina uprights?

Nope, the bearings are completely different so you will need the correct type to fit.

So, does that mean that there is no point in buying the uprights on their own without the hubs?

No. You can buy after market alloy hubs.

look here

and here

seems you can buy steel hubs too.

Raceleda do all sort of alloy hubs to fit the various uprights. I bought some Cortina ones for my uprights as they save a fair bit of unsprung weight and look much nicer too.

MNR do the Raceleda stuff. In fact I think they own Raceleda now. You'll find them at mnrltd.co.uk.
