which brake setup?
theohighland - 11/6/08 at 08:34 PM

i have purchased a floor mounted pedal box which is designed for two master cylinders and a bias bar.

is this the best way to go or can i just use one master cylinder?

also, which master cylinders are best or cheapest?

Any suggestions are appreciated,

Thanks

Theo

For road use = single MC +/- adjusting valve

For track use = bias bar

ok, so can i use the m/c from my sierra donor?

and how do i attach the pedal to the m/c? will i need a bias bar for that, as it is designed for 2 m/c? would it then be just as easy to have 2 m/c's?

Cheers,
Theo

Now that you have bought the pedal box designed for twin master cylinders then probably best to use the bias bar and twin cylinder set up - unless you want to sell (or swap) the pedal box of course. A pair of Wilwood Master cylinders with integral reservoirs from the likes of Rally Design or many of the kit manufacturers

For Single cylinder tandem you would need to use a different pedal box assembly.
Don't use the the Sierra cylinder unless you have leg muscles like Desperate Dan.
