Oh dear, how unfortunate. I do recall that this had been predicted some time ago. Can't seem to remember when and who though???

Cheers,
Syd.

Hi thats ten or so of them that have broke now. And i think there are about 4 cases of a steering arm breaking.

I thought Marc MNR had these tested. I do not recall the results of that testing ever being made public though.

Cheers Matt

im aware of five now ???, all the old original bruce casting / machining, the ones that i know have failed excluding this incident have been accident related / inpact related
the ones we have been using are a different casting / and are machined differently, we did try to have them tested by a well know suggested organisation who said they didnt have the facilities to test, all that can be ensured is the castings are made / heat treated / machined to british standards

ditto steering arms since we have made them none have bent ( early ones had lightening holes in them )

cheers

marc
