these are direct replacement for M16 calipers, that fit to cortina uprights?
do you know whatthe hose inlet trhead is - M10?
(1.5 equates to two pistons of 38 mm diameter? I am looking for larger piston area so need to go home and do sums ..... )

Yes they bolt directly to the Cortina uprights or any other using the M16 pattern.

They will take any Outlaw 2800/M16, Wilwood Dynalite & Narrow Mount Dynalite (NDL) Bridgebolt Pad, Hawk HB-237, EBC and Performance Friction are
just a few.
I would recommend Performance Friction PF754 pads in 01 compound.
Together they weigh just under 3.6kg so postage from Hebden Bridge to Nuneaton using Parcelforce and one of the below

Getting them past the g/f is not that difficult, you need to use the old magician's trick of distraction. You distract with one hand so they
don't notice what the other is doing. Buy her some flowers and take her out to her favourite restaurant..though that lot will I have no doubt
cost more than the calipers.

They will bolt straight to the Cortina uprights. The mounting points are not threaded so screw pitch doesn't matter and yes M12 is okay.
