As title i purchased this diff as a spare and have never fitted it ,when i got the diff it had 3.9 ratio crown wheel and pinion but the pinion was showing signs of cracking due to bad set up
I have stripped the diff and replaced the crown wheel and pinion with good second hand crownwheel and pinion also i have fitted a new crush spacer and diff oil seal All bearings are good timken items
This diff has a large flange but i do have a small flange available if required
IMPORTANT BIT
this diff has been rebuilt but not fully tightened ie it will need the preload to be set up properly hence cheap price
£325 plus delivery

what axle is it for?

i didn't think atb diffs has a preload setting?

It is an english one and does need the preload setting for the crown wheel and pinion and also the spacer needs to be set up and crushed to the correct poundage and i am led to believe the 2 bearing carriers need setting to the correct distance apart
I think you may be mistaking preload with ramp angles on plate type diff
