3.62 LSD Diff
cosworthspeed10 - 28/12/10 at 01:32 PM

Hi Chaps,

As title, 3.62 Sierra LSD Diff for sale. I bought the diff off a fellow member to use the LSD bit for my 3.14 on my Indy, I sold the car before getting round to installing it, however I did take the end cover off the diff and remove the two circlips that held the shaft ends in and also try to remove the castleated bearing caps that set the endfloat for the crown wheel. If you were going to keep this diff as a 3.62 you would need to re-adjust the clearances for the crown wheel.

Hope this makes sence, any questions please ask.

£100, collection from Littleborough OL15.

When you turn the input shaft, both output shafts turn in the same direction even when you apply a little resistance to one of them.

I also have the ID tag somewhere but cant find it.

i think the lsd gubbins is out of sight behind the crown wheel (operating between crown and one half shaft), but it did occur to me that i couldnt see it in those photos.

Good price though compared to ebay.

Must say, the xtr2 is a damn good looking car!

Definitely an LSD - viscous variety. Here's a photo of a bare viscous insert

Is it a 7" or a 7.5"?

Hi Chris, sorry for the late reply, the diff is provisionally sold.
