RAW STRIKER – Yamaha R1 Injection (2009)
Time has come for a change so I have decided to sell my Striker. I built this car over 2 years using all new parts except for the engine, diff, drive
shafts and radiator; all other parts were brand new.
The car was sva’d and registered in May 2009 and has covered a total of xxxx miles, this included a run to Le Mans from the Shropshire just 5 weeks
after being put on the road. The car has never been on a track and is only used as a weekend toy.
Tech Spec:
· RAW Striker road chassis
· Yamaha R1 5vy injected engine c/w baffled sump & secondary breather mod
· Power commander USB 3
· R1 radiator and cooling system
· Sierra 3.62 LSD diff & drive shafts
· Bailey Morris TRT 2 piece prop
· AB Performance paddle shift
· RAW aluminium fuel tank c/w swirl tank
· Sytec high pressure fuel pump and filter
· Raceleda aluminium front uprights
· Hi-spec aluminium front hubs
· Wilwood powerlight callipers – front & rear
· Grooved & cross drilled disks - front & rear
· Wilwood Bias brake pedal box
· Team Dynamics Pro race 1.2 wheels & Toyo R888’s
· Carbon dash c/w digidash 2 lite
· Varley Red top 8 motorsport battery
· LED lights all round except headlamps
The total weight of the car is 440kg (less driver) and Yamaha spec the engine at 175bhp, based on this the car has just over 400 bhp/ton, 0-60 is
reached in 4 seconds or less if you can get the start right !
RAW were that impressed with the spec and quality of the car they displayed the car at Stoneleigh National kit car show in 2009.
Only serious enquiries and no test pilots, you will only get to drive the car if a proof of fully comp insurance is available… I will be happy to take
you out for a quick spin, weather permiting.
For further info U2U me for contact details
Car will be at Stoneleigh May 2011
£9,850 (no silly offers, I’m not desperate to sell)

To be pedantic
175bhp / 0.440 tonnes = 397.72 < 400 bhp/tonne (so not well over 400 bhp/tonne)
Sounds like an awesome specification though and much cheaper and easier than building it.
Used online calculater being lazy and was unsure about quoting figures, everything on paper sounds great....
Thanks for your comments about car
