Fury Bolt on Roll Cage
enginearin - 19/2/12 at 08:56 PM

Bought new race car and need a much taller cage, so the old cage is up for sale.

Recently re-powder coated. Passed MSA scrutineering.

Pictures below, please email for a PDF of approx dimensions.

New cage is going to cost me £750 all in... looking for around £400 for this one. Please note FIA padding will be removed prior to sale for reuse on new cage (bloody expensive stuff that!)

Located in Reading for collection... postage might be interesting

Please call Tim on 07789 221774 or U2U me your email address for dims.

Thanks

Tim

Guess it won't fit if you have a glass windscreen?

Also how tall are you and how much too short was the cage?

Don't see why not... Haven't seen a fury screen in the flesh, but this cage is vertical starting 32mm behind the dash bar, then rakes back after approx 300mm

I'm 6'6" and the cage is probably ok for up to about 6' tall (depending on seat location / angle)

Yeah I'm 6'5" so really i supposed i was being optimistic that it would any use to me if someone has changed it for being too short.

That said i suppose it depends if you have a long body or long legs.

When I was selling my old Fury someone shorter than me got in and they would have to look over the top of the screen to see where they were going - weird!

Definately optimistic i think... i'll get you a measurement for the rear hoop tonight though.

Thanks for the interest, but now provisionally sold to Lee (who's 5'10".

Rear hoop measurement was 500mm from base to top of cage.

Cheers
