Looking to get a removable steering wheel boss for my hot rod Sierra steering column I don't want a weld on one just one that fits on an aftermarket boss any recommendations ? Cheers Ian

I use the NRG system as it has zero play and you can get some accessory that allow you to lock off the place when not in use and stow the lock when driving

Sorry to hijack your thread Ian, but......

Not really sure what I'm talking about here, but presumably I would still need to bolt something on to my column first to fit this system ?

Help

Depends on your boss, I had an adapted ring machined up at a local engineering shop.

I've used a ford fig boss ftom CBS with a RMD steering wheel on an adjustable column, so once iva is done and passed my sparco quick release will be fitted and column adjusted backwards to get back the added length of the quick release.
