Evening all. A mate of mine is after a choke cable, speedo cable and an original petrol cap for an imported 1992 Honda 400 CX. This was given to him last year for him to tinker with but he is struggling for these specific bits. No-one from Honda can get hold of these in this country (so he was told) and he seems to think (backed up by his local, reputable bike retailer) that anything off the 500 won't be compatible. Any ideas or does anyone happen to have an imported 400CX they were just about to strip and chuck?

In My experiance of Honda CX 500's the parts you mention are unlikely to be different from the 400s
The` best thing wouldd be to compare the cables may bea adifferent length but the fittings are likely to be the same .
