Were's the cheapest place to buy alloy hubs for cortina uprights, I've looked on rally design and at hi-spec ones. Who else supplies
then.

Has anyone had any dealings with/bought stuff from Compbrake? I've never heard of them but I'm in the market for some hubs too and those are very good prices - what's the quality like though? ie are the bearings going to spin in the hubs after a couple of weeks.......
Hi Had some dealings with them early on. Service was good. But quality of parts was shocking. Hubs that had wrong dia holes for studs/bearings.
M/Cyls that where failing after a short time looked like girling ones but where not girling. Gave up and spend a few £'s extra for quality
elsewhere.

Cheers Matt, I was actualy going to u2u you about them but I did a bit of googling and came up with enough similar opinions/experiences to yours to
put me off anyway
I think compbrake is run by the people who were behind TAS, they sold crap, I had a quickrack of them that snapped in 2, and a brake bias bar that did the same! I also heard lots of simular horror stories. I dont believe they knew anything about spec of materials or correct heat treatment, beware!

I had used TAS in the past and the stuff they made was SH1T to be nice about them, as was said above nothing ever fitted, and often broke.
