Mrs been on look out for cheap bike to chuck in caravan, called in at local SportsDirect, ended up with one each £70 total, cheap n cheerful maybe but 21 gears, disc brakes, front rear suspension, perfect for riding up coastal path for a bevvie, car boot money.

After a bike, drop into sportsdirect.

ahhhhh, we spent it outside actually, so sorta ok ish ?

cheap front sus bikes are ok ish, cheap full sus bikes are bad news, bad design's normaly waste energy, don't work when your stood up, and sap power when your sat down, more importantly the pivots last about 1 minute

I welded one into a solid bike for the kid next door a couple of years ago, the back wheel had developed a distinct lean

I bought one of those "budget" bikes in Florida when I was training out there for a month..... $50 from wallmart....

I wheelied it off a pavement.... once....the wheel ended up square :p

I fell for the same trap twice lol!

Paid £120 for a full suspension bike, weighed a ton and had more drag than a dax with a pinto in it!

cheap 'n' heerful 'n' nast ...

I have tyres that ost more than your entire bike ..... but as long as it floats your boat and does what you want it to do, 200 m cylce to pub and back, then it'll be fine./

Let us know how long it lasts.

Would have been better going for something with no suspension, at least the manufacturers have a bit of budget to spend on the important bits so they aren't made of cheese.
