T66 - 5/4/13 at 04:24 PM

Just bought a Makita Ls1030n chop saw, uses 255mm blades, can anyone point me in the direction of suitable blades for cutting stainless pipes.

Theres an Evolution blade on ebay but I have no idea whether they are any good.

cheers

The 255mm -10" seems not to be a particularly popular size for the Rage or cut-off saws. (means silly prices for one)

355mm - 14" seems more the std size for Evolution saws and the abrasive disc types

The magic word for abrasive wheel cutting stainless is INOX but not sure how big they go...

Evolution saws run at lower RPMs than other saws. Check you aren't going to overspeed the blade with the Makita saw. Also the arbour on the Rage 3 is only 1", whereas most blades (and I presume saws) use a 30mm arbour.
