because you have not made the "specsavers call"

for the same reason that I like Meccano and Land Rovers, there is a "bloke-ish" look about it!

this is what I cannot understand either, im only a 1.25 prescription. So glasses not the problem

Could it be related to my admiration of Ladas maybe ?

I like that as well. it looks serious.. may be because we all love 4x4's...... it doesnt matter what they look like as long as its not a Landrover.....

The body styling looks like based on an amalgam of various miltary Truck 1/4 ton 4x4s ie DKW Munga, LR, GAZ, Wililys MA & MB only ones left out were the Champ and the M151.

For my money nothing looks more butch than a Champ.

It would seem to have quite a few Land - Rover parts canibalised into it's body work; door bottoms(altered shape), door - tops, door mirrors, windscreen - frame(may have been 2 piece S11/S111 altered to take 1 piece screen), hood sticks and canvas tilt.

Does look rather utilitarian, in a good way.
