Hi all..
Trying to work out best way to mount headlights....
1. make a bracket that uses the bolt at the top of the shocker.
2. make an 'A' shape bracket that uses the bolts on the top suspension arm.
3. weld a bar to the side of the chassis and panel round it.
4. Bolt a bar to the top rail of chassis and cut out 'U' shape in nosecone.
I like the idea of ajusting the headlights up n down in case i change the lights later on.... any comments ? pitfalls etc?
cheers ........
Im having the same problem of deciding what to do with my lights at the moment but i hadnt considered the up and down movement of them. In that
respect the A frame has got to be the way to go. It takes the caterfield idea that little bit further doesnt it?
Steve.
i have spare mk light bar in chrome £10 + pnp bolts on top of the car through the nose cone fiberglass
I would say weld a bar to the top rail of chassis and cut out 'U' shape in nosecone.
Look in my picture archive there must be a picture where you can see how I did it. If not, I will make one for you
Greets Roy.
I made a bracket that uses the top wishbone bolt and the top shock bolt. The advantage being that I used the headlight bracket to solve the SVA radius
problems on these parts... dunno if it will cut the mustard yet though...
I'll post a foto if you want
Bob
ahhhh wishbone and shock bolt
i'll have a look at that.......
cheers
