Anyone used one of these?

LAMBDA GAUGE
Will I be able to get my CO down using this (planned R1 + Cat) or will I still need an exhaust gas analyser for the final c/o ?

Doesn't the gauge just provide a reading, rather than being responsible for changing or adjusting the mixture?

Cheers

Forgot to say that I have a power commander and laptop for that and it is an injection engine.

Ahh..makes sense now
from what I understand of it the gauge would allow you to see what effect the changes made to the map (via the commander) were affecting the mixture, is that what you were trying to achieve?
Looks like a good option to me, if the gauge wasn't so costly it would now be high on my list

It is a high price, but a couple of rolling road sessions would wipe that out.
My thinking is that the gauge might give you the correct running setup, but what about CO emmissions beyond the cat?
The lambda will be installed before the cat.
I would like to have two maps. One for SVA and the other for road. Maybe even a 3rd for trackdays.

Good point on the RR sessions, I always forget about that cost.
As for emissions beyond the cat, if the cat is good and the mixture is correct, there should be no problem, especially as you could have a map for "economy" which would ensure a good result on the test!

Your gauge has now moved up my list a bit

Just found a £75 cheaper version CLICKY

Nice one, it's getting interesting now, I see this one can include a temp sensor as well, that amounts to a lot of useable info for setting up and monitoring an injection system
