Wiring covering
Eggy - 31/1/09 at 08:25 PM

I've made a few changes to my loom and now need an assortment of sizes of the split tubing used to cover the loom.

To save me buying 5 metre lengths for just 6 inches or so, has anyone got some leftovers for beer tokens???

Cheers,

Kev.

Need some around 20-30 mm for the main loom and bits behind the dash. Perferably in black. Whatever you want to get rid of I'm sure I could use.

On a seperate note, how much of the loom has to be covered?

I robbed loads off a Pug 206 in the scrappy, might be worth a root around if nothing better comes up

I've just used loom tape for the most part of my wiring - much easier to get the loom to go where you want and cheaper too.

If it's good enough for producions cars, then it's good enough for my Indy. I have covered the loom with something a bit more substantial in areas where it's likely to get a lot of chafing and abuse though.
