sierra column switchs

does anyone have an idiots guide to wiring sierra column switches into a premier wiring loom, have managed to wire the wiper switch , sidelights , dip & main beam relays but just cannont get the head light switch right .afterspending all day in the garage i thought it was time to ask for help

A word of advice - please check what switches you have as some are +Ve switching and some are -Ve. My Luego wiring loom (including the relays) was opposite to the actual switches I had and it took me b***y ages to sort out the problem!!!

My switches are -ve switching as are all of the later ones I believe. Sounds like you are nearly there as you have most of it sorted.

The type of switching is indicated by the number marking of the switches, ie 87Bg or 90 Bg, I think there the numbers anyway, they are marked on the bottom of the switch gear
