does anyone have a workshop manual for a mk5 escort i need a copy scanned of the clutch pedal assembly, the quadrant has broken and i cannot see how the new one fits

two "c" clips hold the shaft in ,pull it out to the left and the pedal will come out with the quad on it. only use ford bits as the pattern stuff is toss

nasty nasty job,when you re- assemble the quad and pawl on the pedal,insert a short piece of 13mm copper pipe to keep it all together,the spring is very strong,then the pivot pin will push said copper pipe out when you re-fit the pedal
