Almost there,was just connecting up the final few wires (headlights).

Thought i'd give the usual test run,side lights worked fine but no dipped beam.
Main beam works fine on the flasher stalk,checked the headlight units for wiring all seems ok.

I'll have a go at relays and switch gear in the morning,if anybody has any suggestions fire away please

brake hard to dip the lights........

guess you'l bin that sugestion.

there's no power to dip so its now down to relay or switchgear.

Is it Sierra switchgear?.

I've read the thread and i think its the very same problem,i'm off to the garage this morning to have another bash at it

In the end it was the earth lead that connects both sides of the sierra column switches,i had it connected up to the wiper lug on top of the switches doh!!!! how the hell was i to know.

Anyhow it all works fine now and i even have a working rear fog with main beam on,this was evidently a problem in the old thread on this matter.(dont ask me how though)
