Guys,
I just got myself an Odyssey PC545 battery on Ebay for £40 which seems like a good price.
Odyssey
PC525 Battery
I know these have been popular in the past so I thought I'd post the link as he has a few left.
Anyone know where I can get a bracket for it? Do any of the PowerVamp brackets fit this battery?
I also managed to pick up a brand new rear wheel bearing to replace my damaged one for £0.99!!!!!!!!!! What a result.

That really is an excellent price - really good little battery too.
There are alot of bargains to be had on the bay
brill just what i've been looking for
Great! Thanks for that!
I had one made for my baby Odyssey by alloy racing fabrications. Just make sure that where they punch the holes in the ali that it leaves enough room
for the battery. I had to file mine down!
I brought one from him in December Great price and great seller really well packaged and delivered promptly!
Funny how in December they were the last ones he had, and now he’s got some more

Dave...
Excellent - great find. I've just bought one too. Basic batteries for the Pinto were a similar price to that when i looked in the week so made up with that!! How on earth some ebay shops can charge £93 for the same item i really dont know.
Can these be used on a road car (7) and what connectors do you need for the terminals?
Yes and M6

Are these big enough for a 2.0 zetec?

Is the main body of the battery black or red?
Mine's red.
I have a PC 680. I am also very proud to say that I actually MADE my own bracket, using...
a cookie pan that I believe my dear departed dad made while he was in school during the 40's. I consider it to be the beginning of getting
somewhere with this project!
Ive the powervamp one. £15 off ebay.
I bent the bottom flap to point out the way instead of back in under the battery so I could rivet it to the flat panel.

I've been using that same brand and model of battery for about 2 years now on my 1.6L Toyota 4AGTE. Works every time. Granted, I have no radio
and no accessories to speak of. But it does keep my laptop running even when the car is off for hours.
I built my battery tray and bracket from some folded/welded thin sheet steel, a rectangular rubber pad to set the battery on, and the bracket drops
across the center of the battery and bolts down to the tray. Very secure.
