Cant afford a nice flashy digidash so has anyone had any ideas to how to make some locost shift lights and gear indicator?

Also how could they work?

I got my Acumen DG8 gear display from fleebay

The I-Shift from a website

The digi dash is a koso and came with the car but I believe they are about £100

ok so im gonna buy one of these shift-i things. only one question; which colour combo?

my accumen gear indicatior is blue :


so do i go for Blue & Red illumination, or the classic green, orange, red illumination?

opinions please?

I was kind of thinking "LOCOST" money! That setup above is a bit more than i was thinking of spending.

I was thinking about buying a few LED's and some other gadgets, solder them all together and hey presto! Hmmm me thinks this will not so easy after all.


Come on there must be some elecy wiskids on here that can make this stuff?
