Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what type of socket fits these bolts, they're nothing like the star type sockets I've got, lots more indents.

Cheers

Steve

12 point socket rather than a 6 point standard IIRC

I have always used a 12 pointed socket on
ARP bolt's.

Are they something new???

ARP=American Racing Products so there is a good chance they are imperial, I think I needed a 12 point 14 mm socket for my Pinto head bolts

ahh yes should be imp but thats second nature to me with a circa 1960's V8 boat anchor !!!

as above, its just a standard bi-hex socket or ring spanner

std. cossie conrod bolts are the same (and quite a few others)

or even 'english' as the americans like to call them
but ARP ones can be metric too (my cossie ones are)
