Is anyone going to the Masters Classic festival in early September? It will be the first car meeting on the re-opened track and the provisional line up looks a bit special.
I was at the first re-opening meeting in 1977 so I'm looking forward to it a lot.
If my memory is reliable they weren't allowed to race open wheel cars in the first meeting because a public footpath crossed the track (although I'm not sure even the nippiest ramblers would have been able to dodge Mick Hill's VW Beetle super saloon!).

I found a box of old photos I took as a kid including some Donington ones. They are a bit crap, but I think I developed them myself in a cupboard!
