want to use my track app but need to mount the phone to a roll bar

what do people use to do this? dont want my phone leaving the car thats all im worried about!

There's a thing called Eye Scope link If you removed the tripod and fettled some way of mounting it, it would give the tightest grip on an iPhone I've seen so far.

Ive just bought a small iphone holder from ebay, cost about £3 - Plan is to use it on my Ultrapod.


The angle shape of the ultrapod legs will let it sit snug against a cage tube, probably best to tape it rather than rely on the velcro.

If your using a logging lap timer then just Telco to the top or front of the dash. then use a tether so you know it won't go flying. Thats what i do.

if your viewing swell its a mare. i have a screen sucker to a flat panel. then its the same as above.

I have not had issues with marshals but they do often check it has a second security. i do the same for my hard mounted camera too.

Surely if you can afford an iphone, your not spending enough on your car!
