Haynes BMW 3 Series Manual

I am nearing completion of fitting a 1980's 3 Series BMW diff into my classic trials Skoda Estelles gearbox. I have had the drive shafts shortened but have not taken note of the allignment of the CV joints on either end of the shafts. DOH!!! Do they have to specifically line up with each other in any way or can I just fit them any way onto the shafts? Does anyone have a Haynes manual that they would be willing to scan the relevant page for me please if it gives this kind of info? Failing that I will have to try and look at another drive shaft from somewhere.

I can't imagine they'd line up in any special way tbh. But the lad next door has 2 x E30s on his drive if you need any photos taking?

no mention in my book of lineing up unlike UJ,s so i doubt it matters,if there is no master spline on the actual shaft then it wont matter.

I donīt think they need to be aligned in any way.
They were designed as replacement to U-Joints used on $ wheel drive for front axle bac in the days..
