How much do they like to have in them?

Cheers.

depnds, on if it's a new build and filter change or just a drain and replace.

Fair point, but I'm not sure how accurate the dipstick is on the sump I have.

is a drain and replace, due to sump repair.

Depends on type of sump -- 6.25 pints inc filter

HI

If the sump has been modified IE shortened it will not matter. You can still only fill it to maximum height MAX. Any higher on the dipstick and the crank will start to pick it up.

Check the dipstick though. Where the part number is on the end. If it has a AA it is for a 1300cc if it has a BA it is for a 1600cc.
