Birthday prezzie ideas...
Sparky - 12/7/03 at 12:30 PM

Well, another year has flown by and I'm being asked by the sister-in-law for an idea of what I want for the burfday present.

I've suggested a locost-related book from Amazon. I've found a few, and I'm favouring a book on electrics - the only bit I'll need help with. 'Kit car electrics' by Peter Wallace, and 'Auto Electric Handbook' by Jim Horner

So, the point of this lil' ol' post - does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? Either of the two above any good? Any others you can suggest?

Or shall I hang out for a set of shocks...

Thanks guys.

Getting that from your sister in law would just be plain twisted.

It's nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of judicious editing.

not quite the same wording but same outcome

cant be that outrageous if you decided to put it back up

Eh?
Dear Mr. Gusterson can you please refrain from deleting posts at will, you're twisting my melon man.

stephen_gusterson - 13/7/03 at 06:37 PM

yeah. I will do me best to stop. Just thought one about vibrators was a bit too much for the younger builders amounst us.

You can change contexts wonderfully tho.

I think they'll cope!

Anyone who gets offended by the word vibrator is clearly someone who deserves to be offended!

That particular one is a really worthwhile investment though- you can get hours more done on the car when the other half is busy with something else!

Cheers,

James

I thought that but wasn't sure how to not sound like I wanted to put a vibrator in my toolbox! I'm sure there's (painful) connotations there!

i don't want a vibrator in my toolbox! I'll leave that to my girlfriend, though i don't think she has a toolbox, more of a hold-all really.....

Ned.

Could Madam please resubmit her order as the red one she chose from the display turned out to be a fire extinguisher.

yours, Pete

Ned is there something you've neglected to do to Maude that requires a hold-all of toys.
