Nice, but what is a "the cat’s tongue grill" and what does it do!

Having had a look around Petrolhead's R500 the other night, I have to say they do look well finished!

However as Jambojeef and I said, if we spent another £30k on our cars, they'd look and go pretty well too!

They are really nice - my mate has a superlight.

Unfortunately its just too small for me. I'd probably have a job convincing my wife to let me part with the money as well!

Looks like they have "adopted" the Savage Switchgear!

Is it just me or do the gearknob and rear lights look a bit 'chav?'

RK - 13/4/08 at 07:40 PM

I just think it's rather low of them to read my mind and steal my car's paint job!!

fesycresy - 14/4/08 at 12:31 PM

And why do they use Ivor Williams trailer mud guards on the front of the car ?

I agree, they don't look particularly special for your £36k do they?

Actually i think they are, assuming they are using the same ones on the csr (look very similar) , then they have been aerodynamically designed

If they were the same as the CSR then I'd agree, they are very nice looking as cycle wings go. However, they are most certainly not the same, as said it looks just like they've been taken off a car trailer.

ahh yes, my apologies look nothing like, what was i thinkng??? CSR ones look designed, those look like they are out of a scraps bin..

What i dont understand though, is why did they go for the 2.0, which must be getting pretty stressed by that point, rather than the 2.3 - and how have they managed to make it just over 500kg
