Anyone from here heading down to Le Mans next year, the ACO have announced the date as the 12th June & Brittany Ferries have finally put their 2010 routes on the internet so just booked my ferry

Leaving Wednesday 9th at 08:15 on the Portsmouth - Caen route

Just need to sort the stickers for our usual mode of transport:

Love a bit of le mans myself ... we have quite a well organised crowd -2007 we came up with this theme

We took anout 100 Team no bull logos ... and they seemed to get everywhere

we are planning a trip down next year and will prob be with White Rabbit Racing (safest site usually )

Will be going next year with a few other cars. Will go in the Indy if its ready by then.

White Rabbit was ok for us in 2008, however fence was cut and a few bikes were nicked one night...

I think the SG7's are planning an exodus. They were quite hopeful that id have mine reliable and ready for such a journey but we'll see.

I was going to take the MNR but the father-in-law who I go with, started going on that the journey down was part of the experiance (which is true) but he didn't want to have to drive the camper van down on his own..........so the MNR is staying at home

Cant you trailer it, or tow it with a dolly? Ive seen plenty of caravans with tow bars fitted, towing cars or trailers.

I had thought of that and it remains a posibility but don't fancy coming back from the circuit and finding the 'pikeys' have taken the trailer!

You can get locking hitches, and even alarmed ones. Failing that, just electrify it!

No, dont really remember anyone except the people I was with - I do remember getting there early was a good move - people arriving later in the week had to pitch their tents right next to the toilets.

MakeEverything - 8/10/09 at 08:18 PM

That has its advantages of course....

Make of that what you will
