
How can I never have heard of a car this beautiful? Its so un-beetle like, more Italian than German styling?

hmm, not a porsche fan, but its pretty good looking,

And i know a place where you can buy a replica! Sadly not in kit form.

Crackin car. Porsche only lost the '0' when peugot through their teddy out the pram and won a legal claim that they owned the rights on having a 0 in the middle.
To my mind one of the prettiest porches ever and would make a really nice and practical kit car if one could afford it - kits seem to cost 50thou pounds or more.

I saw one sell at Bonhams Goodwood aution last year. I think it sold for £300K plus.

Sterling Moss drove one at Mosport in the 60's, I still have a picture of it, painted pale green, not quite as pale as UDT Laystall cars.
