The time has come to sell my R1, it doesn't get enough use and the law is just trying to force us off the road....

Its a 2001 5JJ last of the carb models with 19K on, and I'm thinking of breaking it up, as I'll probably get more for the parts than the two and a half grand it might fetch in spring.

What sort of money are you BEC guys paying for R1 engines with all the bits to make them go - loom, stand switch, clocks etc.??

All the engine and electrical bits might fetch £1000. I don't know what the frame and fairings are worth but I'd take the £2500.

I think I paid around £1200 for my 5JJ in loom & clocks about 2 1/2 years ago.
