Having just enjoyed bacon butties, Becky (7) is asking peppa pig questions, do I or don't I ?

Would it be unfair to tell her peppa may not be on telly any more ?

Yep, it's best to tell her now. Saving delusions in later life

i have just had to have the same conversation with my little girl about beef, pork and lamb.
It could have gone quite badly but she decided that sheep taste the best and cows second. she now wants to change the roast cow on sunday for roast baby sheep.
Cool

Ojnr is 4 and a half and he knows the all about meat and dead thinks. In fact, when he realised that his bacon butty was munching Olivia, he shrugged and ate another one.....

I told mine ages ago, he's only 3.

Probably best to wait a few hours before telling them. Can't think of many kids who'll take "By the way, I'm eating your favourite TV character" very well...

Not sure what you'd do if you were veggie and had to explain about Bill & Ben, though. No way out of that one...
