The lightning in the plumes of ash/smoke looks crazy! like something from a sci-fi film

tomprescott - 20/4/10 at 07:21 PM

Reminds me of krakatoa - much as it is causing a hassle (sp?) to quite a few people, I'm really glad its happening, natural world has always interested me and most things happened before I was born.

shame they weren't there when it went off, clarkson could have blocked it up with his ego and stopped the travel chaos

dazzx10r - 20/4/10 at 08:56 PM

Awesome pictures, nature at it best/worst? funny really that a volcano has done more to stop immigration in 5 days than the government has done in 12 years!!!!
