I'm after some steel for a water tank 1m*2m *4mm thick - 4 sheets + 3m*1.5*4mm- Corus want £49+vat per sheet for the 2m*1m and 113 for the larger sheet - is this a good price at the moment?

ive tried tons of places in the town that makes the metal and found its well expensive compared to leeds

I've phoned metalsupermarkets to see what price they come back with - GHE were surprisingly even more expensive (£63 for the 2m*1m)

well you have a good price. i priced up all the 1" box for my chassis in scunny at corus who was £80 more than getting it in leeds.

and tons more for alli and more for the steel i needed for the floor etc.

least you know your price is fine.

Its funny how the price varies from place to place so much - When I got the price for CDS corus were about twice the price of anyone else for the same grade.

With the current rise in steel prices, the quoted prices are good for a non-account holding/low volume order.
