AS title....
Regarding a recent thread....
I know which one I would do...

mookaloid - 17/8/10 at 04:40 PM

don't have a clue what you are on about

CRAIGR - 17/8/10 at 04:41 PM

Kind of immaterial if he's already left wouldn't you say.

That applies to most of us!

I think the leaving part is the thing you should not do.
What purpose would leaving do?

tegwin - 17/8/10 at 04:43 PM

We dont know the circumstances of the bullying etc..

Its best that the person in question talks to the mods in confidence if they feel they need to...

There is no point in shouting about this chap, why give him the attention he obviously so depseratly wants?!?? Just ignore him...

Hi

No option for contacting Fozzie. !!

Cheers Matt

Humbug - 17/8/10 at 04:50 PM

. None of the above

I would sort it out via Fozzie behind the scenes and, if warranted when all the facts are known, Foz/admins could then possibly ban the guilty party/parties. To my mind there is no real mileage in discussing in public issues suffered by (AFAIK) one member here.

Fozzie - 17/8/10 at 04:53 PM

I am always here to help and assist when required.......but first I have to be made aware that there is a problem......everything is always confidential, and will stay that way.

But if no-one has contacted me to say that they do have a problem, I am unable to do anything....

Asking the 'victim' to 'name and shame' would also put pressure on the person when that person is already upset.

I know you mean well Angel, but really this thread is pointless...sorry...

Fozzie

Stay away from them!

alistairolsen - 17/8/10 at 09:26 PM

Its the internet. The problem isnt with bullying, it's with taking the internet seriously in the first place. I use a lot of forums and this is one of the most PC.

To answer the question, sorting it out is rising to it, leaving is just churlish and involving Fozzie is a bit "tell the teacher" so I'd just ignore it completely

bmseven - 17/8/10 at 10:00 PM

And the point of this thread is

Fair enough.
But the poll shows different.
And that was the point of the poll, let the offended party know what the majority of us think while keeping it anonymous (sp?) enough.
Finally, the offended party will do what he think itīs best not what we want him to do.

ETA: Well kind of pointless now that itīs been sorted. (I have just read the original thread)
